He was the last student of Walter Meyer at paiste. After Walters retirement
Broder became the gongmaster of paiste for some years.
Later the ways of Broder and Paiste parted.
After a short time there came the possibility to produce gongs for the company

As the third main pillar Broder begins the production of a small assortment with Oetken Gongs that will be enlarged in future.
